Born and raised in Munich I was driven by wanderlust, and even if I was living in different places like the United States, Canada, and Italy for extended periods at a time, I was always called back to my hometown Munich.
In early 2004 Yoga entered my life. After initially being trained in the Jivamukti Center in Munich I studied directly under Sharon Gannon and David Life in their one-month residential Teacher Training at the Omega Center in New York in 2005 and graduated as Advanced Jivamukti Yoga Teacher in early 2008. At the same time I finished my Master of Arts degree in American Literature and Psychology at Munich´s Ludwigs-Maximilians University with a few semesters abroad in Europe and North America.
I feel blessed that my eloquence and love for languages is honored and I was invited to be part of Jivamukti´s German-English teaching faculty and was regularly entrusted with the translation of the teaching materials and several books by my teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life. To this day I enjoy to play with written and spoken words.
Early in the year 2009 I received my first Human Design Reading. Since that day I have been experimenting with this extremely practical system that showed me and everyone I introduced to their design how to enter into their unique life experience by seeing who you really are and how to reliably make decisions with their inner authority. This allows us to live each day as ourselves, lead the life free of inner or outer resistance that was really meant for us instead of trying to be something we are not and suffering from the consequences. Since my very first encounter with this living science the essence of Human Design is guiding both my own practice and also how I approach teaching the yogic traditions.
I always like to learn directly from the Source, and therefore my education did not follow the conventional route. That allowed me to become a direct student of a group of teachers in Sedona that were the closest students of Ra Uru Hu, the founder of the Human Design System. Randy Richmond, a personal friend of Ra, and “THE Human Design analyst”, personally trained me to do readings and is my mentor to this day. Dharmen and Leela Herbert-Swann accompanied my process through the Radical Deconditioning and one-year-long Transformation Course. I also did classes on family dynamics and childhood development with them. Mary Ann Winiger and John Martin are two other important teachers who taught me how to dive deeper into the experiment and bring the information down into the body and the energetic field around us. So we can integrate the wisdom into our lives.
Yoga and Human Design go hand-in-hand, as Yoga allows us to come back into our bodies and accept it in its uniqueness. In our bodies we get access to our inner authority, our internal navigation system. Through yoga and HDS my natural healing abilities were cultivated even more. To teach a yoga style that honors the magic of touch allowed me to use my healing hands. Since birth I have been blessed with a sharp perception of and a sensitivity for underlying energetics. That always allowed me to intuitively use energetic healing methods. My understanding of the psychology of humankind and my studies of Human Design top off these abilities and lead to my integrative, holistic, and practical access to coaching.
I am a patient, kind, and highly empathetic teacher whose gentleness and trustworthiness support people to find solutions to difficult life issues, so they are able to discover and live out their true potential. All business, personal, and interpersonal issues can be explored and looked at in a new way. As a projector I look deep into the soul of human beings…
