This is one of my favorite forms of meditation, using a mantra (man – mind, tra – cut through) to concentrate during the meditation practice. A very easy, yet effective one is “let go”.
Set your timer for 3 minutes, find a comfortable seat, become still within and without, and concentrate on your breath moving in and out. You allow your breath to flow freely and with each inhale silently say let and with each exhale go. Repeat until your timer rings.
- Find a comfortable seat (and set your timer).
- Close your eyes and be still.
- Focus on your breath.
- Inhale let, exhale go.
