Your life as a moving meditation
Be yourself!
What does your life feel like when you really notice what is going on? Every day of my life I am grateful for HD because through knowing the architecture of life, the mechanis behind all of it, it is so much easier to know who you are and differentiate between your true nature and what you are taking in from around you. By living out your design your conditionings lose their power over you and your true nature begins to shine. Everyone is unique, we may have similiarities, and yet everyone is unique. The simple tool for living out your true nature is what we call “following your strategy (type) and honoring your inner authority. When you do that, you have something to watch because your lifestory begins to unfold in front of you instead of you trying to write your own story the way you think it should be or want it to be. Do what truly resonates with you, not what you think you should do, it is much easier to stay present that way because you are neither acting out of your mind nor lost in your thoughts.
Mundane life is the deepest spiritual practice if you are living out who you really are!
Cooking or cleaning or taking a shower, brushing your teeth, whatever you do not like to do but that is part of your life that needs to be done… be present! Make it your meditation… notice if you are doing it with resistance or if you can allow the natural needs of your body to be taken care of without resistance…
Meditation in action. Do whatever you do consciously. Breathe in and breathe out. Maybe you want to start with your morning coffee, tea, or smoothie. Prepare your beverage or breakfast consciously and then take each sip or bite consciously. Be present…
Today we can take a step further and integrate the practice of meditation into the transitions of our life. Not just simply taking a moment out of your day – like we did on the first day of our journey together – to focus your attention on something and watching what you think, feel, and notice in your body. Today we are experimenting with doing that all day long. Your attention will probably break and you get lost in your thoughts or something else, but when you remember focus on your breath on the tip of your nose moving into your body with each inhale and moving out with each exhale while your eyes are open and you are doing what you are doing. Can you get lost in thought when you watch your breath and notice the sensations in your body?
Live your movie, watch your storyline, and enjoy the ride!
